Inside the Brussels bubble: Two reviews of the JCI EUKHT

We asked two participants of the 2018 JCI European Know-How Transfer to tell us about their overall experience. Read their stories here:     "No woman, no panel" “No woman, no panel” took my full attention during my visit of the European Parliament. I was trying to find out what it means in this context. I got my answer when in one of the committee meetings I was visiting, the chair mentioned that at the Committee on Women’s Rights and Gender Equality no voting will take place if there is an insufficient number of women participating at the meeting that have a voting right. Now it was getting even more exciting! News from the 2017 JCI European Know-How Transfer

This years European Know-How Transfer has been again a very successful event for the delegates, JCI Europe and JCI. We would like to thank the delegates for their active participation, the Members of European Parliament for working with us and the organizers like EUKHT COC Director Heidi Larsen and EUKHT Councilor Kathrine Stannov as well as Chairperson of the event 2017 JCI Executive Vice President Jonathan J. Borg for working on this event. Next to the program on the Integration of Refugees in the Labour Market and the shadowing of the MEPs by our delegates, JCI Europe had the chance to meet with several EU stakeholders like the EU Commission, the European Parliament and the European Youth Forum to discuss JCI's impact in Europe and future cooperation to create synergies on fulfilling JCI's mission to provide development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change.
